Remaining informed about changes and trends within the homeless population is essential to ensuring that the needs of Manchester’s homeless continue to be met. As the recognized resource for homeless services in Manchester, the Manchester Continuum of Care regularly collects and disseminates essential data on various segments of the homeless population. Data is utilized not only to identify areas where changes in service delivery may be needed, but also to measure progress in preventing and ending homelessness in Manchester. Data collected by the MCoC is an essential tool in our efforts to raise awareness about homelessness in Manchester and to advocate for the rights of homeless citizens.
