  1. You added your contact information on each survey you are submitting.

The Housing Type #2 Survey Was Updated To Add “Transitional Housing” As a Choice for “Program Type”

 
If you’ve downloaded the Housing Type #2 survey before 1PM on January 28, 2014 and were trying to indicate that your program was a Transitional Housing program, you would have noticed that “Transitional Housing” was missing from the drop-down list. This was an error and has since been corrected. You can re-download the survey below.

The 2014 Point-in-Time Count webinar was held on Wednesday, January 8 at 1PM.  A recorded version of the webinar is available to view below.

There are very important changes to the 2014 Point-in-Time Count from previous years, so it is highly recommended that anyone who is involved in the count at their agency watch the training video.

Electronic Surveys

All surveys for the 2014 PIT count are listed below.  It is highly recommended that you download all of the surveys that you will need for the count in advance of the count.  Once downloaded, please take a moment to open them and familiarize yourself with the layout.  If you encounter any technical difficulties or have any questions, please contact you PIT Coordinator.

What Surveys Should I Use?

All programs or agencies should use the General Intakes survey.  Outreach workers or agencies that cannot use the General Intakes survey for technological reasons may download the Paper Survey.

The following type of housing programs should fill out Housing Type# 1:

  • Permanent Supportive Housing
  • Rapid Re-housing

The following type of housing programs should fill out Housing Type#2:

  • Emergency Shelter
  • Transitional Housing
  • Safe Haven

If you are still unsure, please contact your Continuum of Care’s Point-in-Time Count Coordinator.
